Douchanglee

Mr. Dou and Ms. Changlee are the fashion designers and partners behind the successful “Douchanglee” chain of luxury fashion boutiques in Taiwan. The designers approached c8studio to create their first boutique outside of Taiwan in West Vancouver’s prestigious Park Royal Shopping Centre. Their belief that “life is design and design is life” permeates through their innovative approach to classic tailoring that translates “complexity into simplicity”. This philosophy is emulated in the design of the store where a minimalistic approach is used while avoiding redundancy. The use of core architectural materials such as stainless steel, polished concrete and glass produces a clean simple palette that form a backdrop to the beautifully tailored apparel.
